Course Description
The AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Provider Course is intended for Healthcare workers who direct or participate during the resuscitation of a patient. This AHA ACLS Certification Course emphasizes the importance of good CPR to patient survival, the integration of effective basic life support with ACLS interventions, and the importance of effective team interaction and communication during resuscitation.
What does this course teach?
- BLS, including effective chest compressions, use of a bag-mask device, and use of an AED
- Recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest
- Recognition and early management of peri-arrest conditions such as symptomatic bradycardia
- Airway management
- Related pharmacology
- Management of ACS and stroke
- Effective communication as a member and leader of a resuscitation team
ACLS PREREQUISITES
Pass the Precourse Self-Assessment with a minimum score of 70%; print your certificate of completion or save a digital copy and bring it to the course.
